On the 5th of June, 2018, a seminar was held at the Nusrat Senior Secondary School library on the theme: “The Promotion of Digital Innovation and Literacy Skills in The Pursuit of Education in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the AU Agenda 2063. A Case Study on Nusrat Senior Secondary School (NSSS), on its introduction to digital innovations.
The event was organised by The Gambia National Library Service Authority, coordinated by Bakary Sanyang, Director of Bibliographic Services (GNLSA). It was graced by Alpha Bah, a representative of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MOBSE), Ebrima Darboe, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information Communication Infrastructure MOICI, Poncelet IIelegi, Coordinator of the YMCA Gambia, Ousman Faal, ICT Instructor at Nusrat, Musa Bah, English and Islamic Studies teacher at Nusrat, students, teachers and members of the Gambia National library.
